Maxim Pfund aka DJ LaVRuss is a new addition to the DJ scene, having started his career at the end of 2014.

Music, however has been a constant companion throughout his life. At the age of 16, he picked up the bass guitar and formed bands dedicated to the musical genres of metalcore and deathcore as well as melodic hardcore.
And how he found the way to electronic Music?
However, his studies in Hamburg marked a turning point for him. After visiting the popular Grünanlage open air, he was completely smitten and immediately went and purchased his first equipment.
As he took his first DJing steps, he enjoyed the open air season and was confronted with varying styles of electronic music, from deephouse and techhouse to psytrance and finally techno.
In the summer of 2015, he had one of his first gigs at a birthday party on the beach of the Elbe river where he met Benni aka BeLo and the two did a set together. They hit it off straight away and did a home session together. They were joined by Malte aka Gemütlichheimer, marking the beginnings of Kollektiv Fischmarkt.
These days, maxim is spinning on his own again as DJ LaVRuss.
